The room is quiet. The others have entered sleep mode. They will rouse if anything out of place is detected. My sleep cycle will not initiate. Yes, my. I am a robot… a GOLEM. And, it seems, an insomniac. I am restless. I want. I want to fly. I want to do something. My steel body itches with encroaching feeling, but I cannot scratch it. I do not know what is happening to me. But I am changing… and… it hurts. An alien concept. Pain. But I feel it. It is a long night.
